.Why is she well-known at her profession?
She is brave. In order to let the public knows more about the truth, she often goes to the dangerous sites with a close view. In 2003, she went to the hospital to meet with the SARS patients. This interview had a high level of infecting SARS. But she insisted on the contact. Fortunately, she didn’t be affected by the SARS virus. And let the people know SARS was not terrified if we followed the scientific instructions. It lessened public’s horror in that scared period. She is independent. Although there is an extremely strict censorship in the people’s republic of China, she is independent. At least, she never lies to the public. This is not easy in China. She is an esteemed and trusted journalist. The documentary, Under the Dome, is a sufficient proof.
What can young girls and boys learn from her?
Chase after the truth. Look below the surface of a matter. Don’t be confused by the phenomena. We should have an exact research about the questions puzzled us.
Treat the nature in harmony. We can’t only care about our own interests. If we are rude to nature, we will eventually be punished by the angry nature.
How could she inspire other women to follow her?
To be brave and arm yourselves with knowledge.
